How it works

From order to bag, without switching screens

Food Manager connects to the delivery apps you already use. Your customers see no difference; your team only has one screen to watch.

  1. 01

    Orders come in

Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes send their orders straight to Food Manager.

Nothing changes for your customers or your menus: they stay in each app. We simply connect each of your brands to Food Manager.

  2. 02

    One screen

Every order shows up on one tablet, sorted, colour-coded by brand, with the time left.

Each card shows the brand, the app, the items, the options and the customer’s notes. A new order flashes the screen, and the chime repeats until someone accepts it.

  3. 03

    One printer

The ticket prints as soon as you accept. If the printer doesn’t answer, the tablet tells you.

A Star Micronics kitchen printer with CloudPRNT, plugged into your router. If a ticket doesn’t print, the card says “Print failed — tap to reprint”.

  4. 04

    Done

Tap “Ready”: the app lets the courier know, and the order leaves the screen.

The status goes back to the delivery app. You can also reject an order with a reason (item sold out, kitchen too busy).

Getting started

We do the setup with you. You keep your old tablets until everything has been tested.

  1. 1We create your kitchen and your brands, and connect your Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes accounts.
  2. 2You open a link on the kitchen tablet and tap “Install app”.
  3. 3You plug in the printer; we walk you through connecting it.
  4. 4We place one test order on each app.
  5. 5Once everything works, you return the rented tablets.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to change my menus?

No. Your menus, prices and promotions stay in each app, just like today.

What if the internet drops?

The tablet shows a “reconnecting” banner and remembers your taps. They’re sent in order as soon as the connection is back.

What hardware do I need?

An Android tablet with Chrome, and a Star Micronics printer with CloudPRNT (for example the mC-Print3 or TSP143IV). No computer and no software to install in the kitchen.

Where is my data?

With established hosting providers in North America: the app runs in Toronto and the database is at Neon (AWS, Ohio). Connections are encrypted and we don’t sell any data.

Which languages?

The kitchen screen is in French or English, chosen by each kitchen.
